Cell culture
Scaling between vessels
Convert a protocol written for one vessel to another by growth area
—Scaling factor
—Source area
—Target area
Protocol components
Per line: the component name, the amount for the source vessel, and a unit (optional). For example "DNA, 2.5, ug".
Scaling follows the ratio of growth areas and works for cells, medium, DNA and reagent. Not everything is linear, though: small wells take proportionally more medium to offset evaporation, and antibiotic or cytokine concentrations do not scale at all, being concentrations rather than amounts. Adjust those rows by hand.
